Liberty Racing Review, established in 2023, is a motorsports news outlet that puts a spotlight on grassroots racing while covering all aspects of the motorsports world. With a deep-rooted appreciation for the spirit of racing, this dynamic media platform is dedicated to bringing attention to the unsung heroes of motorsports – the passionate individuals who thrive in the grassroots scene. Liberty Racing Review goes beyond the mainstream circuits, offering in-depth coverage, captivating stories, and exclusive interviews that showcase the grit, determination, and camaraderie found in grassroots racing communities. Meet The Team

Steve Newbold

Steve Newbold has been in the motorsports world nearly all of his life. He himself raced go-karts and even cars growing up. Steve’s work with multiple race teams and companies has made him a great addition to the LRR staff. You can find Steve at several tracks in the North Georgia area, such as Atlanta Motorsports Park, Rome Speedway, and Caffeine and Octane’s Lanier Raceway just to name a few. Steve is one of the Co-Founders of LRR, as well as a Columnist and Photographer.

Reid Scott

Reid Scott has been a racing fan for a decade, having watched NASCAR since 2014 when he was 11 years old. Reid really caught the short track bug in 2018, when he attended that year’s Alabama 200 at Montgomery Motor Speedway. Reid has been perusing the short track world getting race coverage for several months now, and you can find him at several late model tracks in Alabama and surrounding states, such as Montgomery Motor Speedway, 5 Flags Speedway, and Talladega Short Track. Reid is a Co-Founder of LRR, as well as a Columnist/Photographer.

J.P. French

J.P. French has also been involved in motorsports for most of his life. He especially enjoys Sprint Cars, Indycar, Late Models, and Endurance Racing. You can find JP at every Talladega race weekend, and he’ll also make an appearance every year in Speedway, Indiana when it’s Indianapolis 500 time. J.P. has the experience in the racing industry to be a fine addition to LRR. J.P. is a Co-Founder of LRR, as well as our Marketing/Finance Guru.

Connor Cochran

Connor Cochran has been into photography for a long time, ever since he got his first camera at 8 years old. He went to college for photography, and when he was there he got into motorsports and cars. When he isn’t working, at school, or watching videos about photography and aviation, Connor is at the track with the Liberty Racing Review crew, shooting quality images to be used in reporting on the action.
