Inside Aidan Potter’s Year of Growth at Montgomery Motor Speedway

November 12, 2025

Montgomery, AL — The 2025 Show Me The Money season at Montgomery Motor Speedway proved to be a year of growth and many firsts for Tennessean racer Aidan Potter.

Driving the no. 68 Pro Late Model for Fetcho Motorsports, Potter picked up one victory and four Top 5 finishes. Potter’s lone win on the season came in August during the Saturday of Speed event.

Potter’s victory and other good runs put him in a solid points position, but a couple rough runs prevented him from closing in on the Show Me The Money championship. Potter ended up coming home second in the standings, tied with Taylor Corum after both drivers scored 244 points. Potter’s victory, the best overall finish between the two young racers, gave him the tiebreaker.

“If I had to grade my season, I would give it about a B-. We did get a win, got my first podium, and my first pole. Those are three huge achievements. I took to Montgomery quicker than any other track, and I gained a lot of my confidence through that place,” said Potter. “Obviously a lot of unfortunate things happened with wrecks and inconsistency, but I can look back now and say, ‘I’m not going to do that again.’ Still, I think it was a great year and a lot of things were learned.”

Failing to finish outside the top five throughout the first three races of the year, it was the second half of the season that proved to halt Potter’s hunt for a championship. Aside from the lone victory in August, Potter got caught up in a couple of incidents, ending his night prematurely on two occasions.

Despite the setbacks, it was certainly a year of great growth for Potter. Having Fetcho Motorsports behind him, the young driver would be hard pressed to find a better support system to help facilitate his growth in the sport.

“I can’t thank Dylan Fetcho and all these guys enough for giving me fast cars every single weekend,” said Potter. “They continuously gave me cars to win in, but at times I became my own worst enemy. Good year, but I just made some mistakes that I wish I could reverse.”

With 2025 serving as a year of many firsts for Potter, the future looks even brighter after seeing what he’s already accomplished. With a proven ability to win and a good support system behind him, Potter will likely remain motivated to see what more he can achieve at Montgomery Motor Speedway and beyond over the next few years.
