Prattville, AL — Every weekend, short tracks erupt with high-octane racing action across the country. As such, there’s a plethora of races for fans to keep track of.
This localized racing digest has been constructed by Liberty Racing Review with the intention of helping bring exposure to short track races across the state of Alabama and surrounding areas.
For this week’s edition of LRR’s Deep South Digest, three events will be covered:
- Five Flags Speedway – Road to the Snowflake Race 3
- Sayre Speedway – King of Dixie
- Huntsville Speedway – Weekly Racing
Five Flags Speedway
Friday’s Allen Turner Pro Late Model series feature at Florida’s Five Flags Speedway served as much more than a standard Pro Late Model 100-lapper. It served as part of the buildup to the biggest Pro Late Model race of the year, the Snowflake 125. The third race of the ‘Road to the Snowflake’ series was just the headliner of the night, as a few other local divisions were included in the action as well.

As noted earlier in this story, Mahan won the Sportsman feature before participating in the Open-Wheel Modified contest.
