Prattville, AL — Every weekend, short tracks erupt with high-octane racing action across the country. As such, there’s a plethora of races for fans to keep track of.

This localized racing digest has been constructed by Liberty Racing Review with the intention of helping bring exposure to short track races across the state of Alabama and surrounding areas.

For this week’s edition of LRR’s Deep South Digest, two events will be covered:

• Montgomery Motor Speedway – Saturday of Speed
• Huntsville Speedway – Local Racing

Montgomery Motor Speedway

A summer shakeup to the Montgomery Motor Speedway schedule resulted in Saturday night’s ‘Saturday of Speed’ featuring two 72-lap features instead of the typical 125-lapper that was scheduled. Street Stocks ran a 72-lap feature as well, with the Late Model Sportsmen holding a 30-lap contest.
