LRR’s Deep South Digest: July 14, 2025

Prattville, AL — Every weekend, short tracks erupt with high-octane racing action across the country. As such, there’s a plethora of races for fans to keep track of.

This localized racing digest has been constructed by Liberty Racing Review with the intention of helping bring exposure to short track races across the state of Alabama and surrounding areas.

For this week’s edition of LRR’s Deep South Digest, three events will be discussed:

  • Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway – Southern Pro Series
  • Huntsville Speedway – Weekly Racing
  • Talladega Short Track – Weekly Racing

Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway

Liberty Racing Review’s “Race of the Week” for this past weekend was the Southern Pro Series event at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.

With the big events on the 5/8-mile track headlining the night, several local classes dueled on the facility’s 1/4-mile circuit as well.

Huntsville Speedway

Another dose of weekly racing was prescribed for Huntsville Speedway, with a total of eight feature events taking place at the North Alabama facility on Saturday night.

Talladega Short Track

One of the most historic dirt tracks in the state of Alabama, Talladega held one of its many weekly racing events on Saturday, July 12th.

A plethora of dirt racing divisions hit the track on Saturday night: CRUSA 604 Late Models, CRUSA 602 Late Models, CRUSA Modifieds, and many more.
