Woodford, VA — The third event of the 2025 ASA STARS National Tour season, the Appalachian Sucker Punch 250, is set to occur on Saturday, April 5th.

The Super Late Model event will be ran at Dominion Raceway, a new stop for the series, located in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

This “Pit Pass Preview” story will provide fans with valuable information on the ASA STARS Appalachian Sucker Punch 250.

Entries

So far, the field of entries stands at 22 cars deep, with several heavy hitters highlighting the roster for Saturday’s race.

The most recent winner in the series, Cole Butcher, will return to action in Virginia with the goal of going back-to-back after his victory in the Sunshine State 200 at Five Flags Speedway.

Gavan Boschele, winner of the season-opening event for the tour, is another Wilson Motorsports racer looking to return to victory lane when the ASA STARS field hits the track at Dominion Raceway.

A racer no stranger to Mid-Atlantic late model competition, that being Landon Pembleton, will pilot a second Matthew Craig-owned machine. Pembleton won last year’s Late Model Stock Car track championship at Dominion Raceway.

One driver returning to action after a brief hiatus is Billy VanMeter. VanMeter, who originally registered as one of the Platinum Program teams, sat out of the Sunshine State 200. He will return to competition at Dominion Raceway.
