Kinston, AL — South Alabama Speedway’s biggest event of the year, the Rattler 250, returns yet again for the 2025 season.
The UARA National Super Late Model event returns to the Deep South racing scene with talented entries, as well as a revised and refurbished weekend schedule.
This story serves as your “Pit Pass Preview” with all the information you need to know before the 49th annual Rattler 250.
Divisions Competing
Headlining the weekend festivities, Super Late Models, sanctioned by UARA National, will battle for 250 laps with an ultimate prize of $25,000 dollars.
Pro Late Models will also join in on the action with their feature, the Baby Rattler 125, which pays $12,000 to the winner.
The UARA Sportsman Series will also be showcased, with a 75-lapper set to unfold.
A plethora of local divisions looks to take center stage during the early portions of the weekend. Modifieds, Super Stocks, Crown Vics, Coyotes, Mini Cup, Mini Sport, and Road Runner classes will all compete.
Entries
As of the time of this story’s creation, 19 drivers are officially looking to take home the $25,000 paycheck that comes alongside a Rattler 250 victory.
Some of the discipline’s biggest names, such as Bubba Pollard, Stephen Nasse, Casey Roderick, and Michael Hinde, all highlight the entry list.
Pollard, who won the event last year, looks to continue his streak and score a third consecutive Rattler win, which would also be his fourth overall.
The fastest man in Super Late Models in 2024, Casey Roderick, returns to action this year with a new team. The former Anthony Campi Racing driver will pilot the Lyon Racing no. 44, which was most recently driven by Jeremy Doss.

Event Schedule
Rattler weekend will see action unfold over the course of three days.
Thursday is set to feature strictly local racing talent, with five local classes competing.
Friday will be headlined with the Baby Rattler 125, with Modifieds and Road Runners also holding features.
Saturday is set for UARA action all day, with the UARA National Rattler 250 and the UARA Sportsman Series 75-lapper.
Early forecasts indicate that weather could become a concern, so schedules are subject to change.
