Carson Brown Scores World Series Night 6 Super Late Model Win

February 13, 2025

New Smyrna Beach, FL — The penultimate event for the Super Late Model class at the World Series of Asphalt was short and sweet for Carson Brown.

This time, however, Brown was out front when the checkered flags flew as opposed to winning in the tech shed like he and his Anthony Campi Racing crew did earlier in the week.

“We’ve had a really good car these past few nights, unfortunately we haven’t beeen able to get it done. It feels good to get a long green flag run. To pick up two wins feels really good.”

Second place finisher Gavan Boschele is now tied with Derek Griffith for the Super Late Model points lead in this year’s World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing. The two will battle it out on Thursday in the Orange Blossom 100 SLM finale.

“I want to win, but I think it helps us out with the points here,” said Boschele. “We kinda missed it a little bit there, just too loose on the long run. Gotta get it better for the 100-lapper tomorrow, but I can’t thank my Wilson [Motorsports] guys enough.”

Third place finisher Cory Hall is also in the championship mix, lurking just a few points behind Boschele and Griffith. Hall expressed displeasure with how he was raced earlier in the night, presumably by Boschele.

“Just a little irritated,” said Hall. “It’s a shame that we’re tearing body panels off cars on like lap 10. I’m new with this, so I’m just trying to earn respect when I can, and I expect the same back. Aside from that, our car was really good.”
