He ended last year’s Snowball Derby up front, and that’s exactly where he’ll start this year’s Snowball Derby on Sunday.
Ty Majeski claimed the pole for the 57th Annual Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway with a lap time of 16.175 seconds.
Joining Majeski on the front row will be Kaden Honeycutt, who has already won one Snowball Derby feature this week and looks to pick up the win in the big race on Sunday.
With the top 30 drivers being locked into the event, Stephen Nasse sits as the last driver with a guaranteed starting position in the 300-lap Super Late Model event.
Nicholas Naugle qualified in 31st and is on the outside looking in, leading the remaining 15 drivers who are all hopeful to make it into the biggest short track race on pavement.

Saturday will see the Last Chance Qualifier settle the score and decide who will make the cut. Four cars will advance from the LCQ and two provisionals will be granted.
