While he wasn’t the first to cross the finish line, Kaden Honeycutt brought home the victory in the Pro Truck feature during Thursday of Snowball Derby week.
Steven Davis, the original winner, fell victim to post-race technical inspection and was disqualified. The exact reason for the disqualification was not ready to be shared by track officials. More information on that will be shared when it is made available.
Honeycutt stands undefeated to begin his quest for four Snowball Derby feature victories. Honeycutt is slated to compete in Friday’s Modifieds of Mayhem feature, Saturday’s Snowflake 100, and Sunday’s Snowball Derby.
The win came in a feature plagued with wrecks, close calls, and other mishaps. Drawing attention online from before the green flag even flew, a track official was almost ran over by a Pro Truck competitor.

Add to that a slew of spins, pileups, and calamity and it’s plain to see that it was simply a battle of survival for Honeycutt and the other frontrunners.
After the disqualification and the updated finishing order as a result, Jared Maupin scored a second-place finish, and Grant Thompson rounded out the podium in third. Seth Christensen and Maddox Langham rounded out the top five.
