Front Row Bonus Incentive Announced for Snowflake 100

November 25, 2024

The Pro Late Model Snowflake 100 has had some new incentive money added to the prize pool, if the front row starters are up for a challenge.

If the polesitter for the Snowflake 100 elects to start from the rear of the field and still comes home victorious, they will win a $3,000 bonus on top of the $10,000 winner’s purse.

If the polesitter elects not to take the challenge, the second place starter can choose to do so. If both drivers elect to start the race from the rear, then the winner would gain $5,000 instead of $3,000.

The front row starters will be asked if they want to partake in the challenge prior to the start of the Snowflake 100 main event.

“We have seen it time and time again that a fast car can get through traffic here,” said Tim Bryant, General Manager of Five Flags Speedway.  “It’s not going to be an easy task by any means, but that’s why there is a bonus and it is a challenge.”

The Snowflake 100’s Pro Late Model field will hold practice on Thursday and Friday of Derby week, with their qualifying session, last-chance qualifier, and 100-lap feature all coming on Saturday.
