Ryan Curtin clinched the LO206 Senior Championship in spectacular style under the lights at Atlanta Motorsports Park, capping a thrilling season.

Curtin, who qualified fifth with a time of 1:01.054, showed resilience and skill in a night filled with high-stakes action and dramatic moments.

In the pre-final, chaos unfolded on lap one when a multi-kart pileup caused a local caution in turn one. Carson Craig was caught out on the inside entering the kink, jumping the curb and forcing several karts off their lines. Daniel Perez and Kyle Tramell crossed the finish line tangled up, while Steve Roberts would take the pre-final win and pole position for the 10-lap season finale.

Starting from sixth in the main event, Curtin fought his way through a strong field. Under the track’s floodlights, he carved his path to the front, showing racecraft that would secure him the win and the championship. Curtin’s victory marked a historic first as AMP’s inaugural under-the-lights LO206 Senior Champion.
Ryan spoke with Liberty Racing Review, stating, “It’s been a great season, I had no clue that [Roberts] was even there and I started celebrating a little early.”

“We still managed to win it, just enough as long as the margin was greater than zero.”
