October 29, 2024
The ASA STARS National Tour’s ten race long season will come to a climactic conclusion this weekend at the historic Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.
Casey Roderick has had a sensational 2024 season, virtually clinching this year’s ASA STARS National Tour championship. Roderick will still have a lot to fight for, as he seeks his second All American 400 victory.
Here’s your “Pit Pass Preview” that will cover all you need to know.
ASA STARS National Tour Standings
Heading into the final race of the season, it’s Casey Roderick and Anthony Campi Racing who have led a dominant campaign to secure the 2024 ASA STARS National Tour championship.
Roderick broke through a few races ago at Toledo Speedway to claim his first and only ASA STARS win in 2024 to this point, but consistency has been key for the no. 26 team.
Roderick has scored the one aforementioned win at Toledo, seven top-fives, and eight top-tens, meaning he has only finished outside of the top ten once with his eleventh place finishing position at Five Flags Speedway back in March.
On top of these accolades, Roderick has scored three poles, all within the most recent three race weekends of the season. He has also scored four stage wins over the course of the year.
With all these impressive stats, there’s no sugarcoating it — no one is coming close to Roderick’s title.
The remaining points positions in the top ten still have plenty of opportunity to be jumbled, with close battles still raging on throughout the charts.
Kyle Steckly and Cole Butcher find themselves tied for the second position in points, both 155 points behind Roderick. Another close battle is that between young guns Dawson Sutton and Gio Ruggiero. Fifth place Sutton leads sixth place Ruggiero by a margin of just four points, meaning a spot in the final top five is far from guaranteed for either driver.
The top ten positions in ASA STARS National Tour points heading into All American 400 weekend can be found below.
