Dixie Crate Nationals Preview: What You Need to Know

Woodstock, GA — This weekend, “The Home of Champions” Dixie Speedway will host ground-pounding, heart-throbbing 602 and 604 Late Models. Fans will be treated to three days of racing action, beginning with an open practice for all divisions starting Thursday and the full event concluding Saturday night.

The Dixie 604 Late Models will headline the Dixie Crate Nationals, battling for for a grand prize of $12,000. The Dixie 602 Late Models will also be racing for a large prize pool of $10,000. With prize pools this large, we expect to see some prominent names on the entry list.

In addition to the feature classes, fans can also look forward to a packed schedule of supporting divisions, ensuring that there will be door-to-door action all weekend long.

Whether you are a die-hard racing enthusiast or attending your first race, Dixie Speedway promises to deliver excitement from start to finish. Pit gates will open at 1:00 PM local time Friday, allowing fans and drivers to take in the sights and sounds of the pits and get up close to the cars before the racing begins. Grandstand gates open at 5:00 PM local time, with hot laps, qualifying, and heat races starting shortly thereafter.
