The most prominent incident of Saturday’s local racing program involved the winner of the Pure Stock feature, Billy Nipper.

Numerous incidents in the Pure Stock feature led to a sizable track cleanup, with the race ultimately coming down to a crucial restart in the closing laps.

Ricky Brooks, General Manager of Cordele Motor Speedway, confirmed to Liberty Racing Review that Billy Nipper was disqualified for soaking his tires.

As such, Josh Taylor moved up a spot to take the official victory.
