Tucker Anderson became the youngest driver to win in the Topless Outlaws Dirt Late Model Series with his victory Saturday night at North Georgia Speedway. The 17-year-old dominated the 40-lap main event to secure his spot in victory lane and in the history books.

Anderson set the fastest qualifying time with a blistering 14.501-second lap time. This set the pace for Anderson to have the car to beat up front all night long, and that’s exactly how his Coltman Farms Racing machine operated.
While Anderson scooted away to take the checkered flag, it would be Jamie Oliver who held on to protect second place from Jordan Rodabaugh. Austin Neely and Colten Jackson rounded out the top five positions in fourth and fifth respectively.
“I feel pretty good,” said Anderson on his historic win. “Thing about that is, I should’ve won one last year when I was sixteen. I led the whole deal until about four to go and I got passed. It’s pretty special.”
Anderson also spoke on the dominance he exhibited in the feature, and how that level of effort is commonplace when he can start up front.
“I’d say when I’m up front I normally dominate the race. I hate to say this, but when I start mid-pack I kinda struggle to get up through the field. When I start on the front row, I feel like I have a chance to win the deal.”
There were a few spins and spills for some drivers farther back in the field, but none of their mishaps affected the race up front.
The Topless Outlaws Dirt Late Model Series returns to action on August 17th at Tazewell Speedway. With only five races remaining, Austin Neely, Anthony White, and Booger Brooks are enthralled in a tight points contest.
